Somebody HELP ME: A Haiku Cycle

I.

i don't know how all

of my assigned work will be

done by this Thursday.


II.

we're not proactive

about putting away the

laundry. pants wrinkle.


III.

leftovers fester

in the fridge. we're growing our

own penicillin.


IV.

no time to write the

great american novel.

my dream is deferred.


V.

we're also looking

for a house in the midst of

all of this chaos.


VI.

fuck! something's wrong with

my computer. microsoft

word is on the fritz.


VII.

at least we've got our

vacation coming up soon.

drunken time of rest.
